Emergency Relief phone line permanently closing

From Monday 16th February 2026, Communify’s Emergency Relief phone line will be permanently closing. We have made the decision to provide only in-person options for accessing ER moving forward.

Brisbane West & Inner City Brisbane

Booking your ER appointment

  • People living in Inner City and Brisbane West are welcome to attend in-person appointments at North West Community Hub between 9:30am to 12pm on Wednesdays.
  • These appointments must be pre-bookedplease call Bardon Reception on 3510 2700 to book your appointment. Spaces are limited.
  • To be eligible to receive ER, you will need to provide proof of address or housing service in the eligible suburbs. Click here to download the list of suburbs eligible to receive ER in Inner Brisbane and Brisbane West.
  • Note: We will be unable to offer any vouchers to those who arrive without an existing ER appointment booking.
How to contact us for emergency relief enquiries

Please email [email protected] for enquiries related to emergency relief. However, for our in-person ER appointments at North West Community Hub on Wednesdays, you will need to call 3510 2700 weekly on Mondays to pre-book your appointment.

Open House

  • North West Community Hub will offer drop-in emergency relief (ER) support on Mondays between 9am-11am, additionally at our Open House sessions on Thursdays between 10am-1pm at 180 Jubilee Tce, Bardon.
  • New Farm Neighbourhood Centre will offer drop-in ER support at their Open House on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am -1pm at 967 Brunswick Street, New Farm.

Our emergency relief service in Brisbane South will remain unchanged.

Emergency relief is by appointment at our Acacia Ridge Community Centre.
