North West Community Hub is Communify’s longest-running neighbourhood centre. It opened in 1993, when Communify was known as the Red Hill/Paddington Community Centre. Thirty years later, the Hub has become a thriving centre, offering emergency relief, social support, and community groups and events.
If you’re driving here, there is ample parking along Jubilee Tce and surrounding streets. We’re just a short walk from the Bardon Central Shopping Centre, around the corner (60 MacGregor Tce, 260 m).

Our team offers a range of services to help community members who are increasingly affected by the cost-of-living crisis.
The Pantry, our food relief service, operates from 11am – 1pm every Monday to offer free food items to eligible people.
The Pantry offers food vouchers, bread, fruit and vegetables and fridge/frozen meals. To be eligible for the Pantry, you must be receiving a government pension or payment and live in inner or west Brisbane.
If you would like to attend the Hub, and you haven’t visited before, please email [email protected] with your full name, residential address, contact number and a photo of your current Health Care card or Pension card.
Our centre offers a variety of support services and points of connection in a safe space every Thursday from 10am – 1pm.

We are always looking for more people, businesses and organisations to get involved in the community in whatever capacity they can:
Our volunteers are an invaluable part of the Communify family. The centre holds insurance covering people signed on as volunteers.
North West Community Hub volunteers assist with pantry, events and in our office with some administrative duties. If you’re interested to learn more about how you can volunteer at our centre, click here to browse our volunteering opportunities.
We greatly welcome monetary donations and donations of goods. If you’d like to financially support our work, you can make monetary donations in person at the centre or via online donation.
We welcome long-life food products for our pantry throughout the year, as well as donations for our Christmas appeal at the end of the year and donations towards our BBQ events. Please note that we don’t accept furniture or larger household goods.
We welcome ongoing support from local businesses and corporate partners. Please contact [email protected] to express your interest in sponsoring our work.
