North West Brisbane Community Hub

North West Brisbane Community Hub

Welcome to the North West Brisbane Community Hub.

North West Brisbane Community Hub is Communify’s longest-running neighbourhood centre, operating since 1993 in the days when Communify was originally known as the Red Hill/Paddington Community Centre.

Almost 30 years later, the Hub has become a thriving centre of activity that offers emergency relief, social support, and community groups and events.

The Hub provides access to fresh and long-life food, visual art activities, a music jam group and an all-abilities choir, and social connection through a men’s group.

Through our Emergency Relief service we provide assistance, support and referral to people in need and/or in crisis in Brisbane. The numerous events we run throughout the year enable us to support and connect with our local community.

If you’re driving here, there is ample parking along Jubilee Tce and surrounding streets.

Support can take the form of the following:

  • Disaster preparation workshops/forums
  • Counselling
  • Emergency Relief/NILS

If you are in the inner-North West of Brisbane and are still affected by the floods, and you require support, please get in touch on 3198 4410.

Get Involved

We are always looking for more people, business, organisations to get involved in our work in community in whatever way they can:

  • Sponsorship
  • Donating goods – we welcome donations for our Christmas appeal at the end of the year and pantry products throughout the year as well as donations towards our BBQ events. Please note that we don’t accept furniture or larger household goods.
  • Volunteering

Our volunteers are a big part of our centre and support us to thrive, without them we wouldn’t survive.

Our volunteers help with pantry, events and in our office with some administrative duties.

Volunteers are covered by our insurance and supported to get credentials required such as Police Check and Blue Card.

Call the North West Brisbane Community Hub on 3198 4410 if you are interested in volunteering.
