Crisis Support

Crisis Support

Do you need urgent support to meet your basic needs?

We provide emergency support services in a range of areas including food relief, financial assistance and referral, as well as services for multicultural groups and people seeking asylum who require immediate support.

Food Relief

Communify provides food relief to community members in need through North West Community Hub, Acacia Ridge Community Centre and New Farm Neighbourhood Centre.

Financial Assistance

Our emergency relief program helps those in need during times of financial hardship. We can provide financial support through food and petrol vouchers, as well as partial bill payments.

Our emergency relief service is available across Brisbane North and South and can be accessed in person or via phone or email. Click here to learn more.

Some of our community centres also provide other forms of financial assistance:

Asylum Seeker Support

The Asylum Seeker and Refugee Assistance (ASRA) Program is a collaboration of seven partner agencies who work together to support well-being, provide basic financial assistance and develop collaborative efforts to sustain asylum seeker support.

ASRA was established to support asylum seekers who have been left vulnerable with no access to financial means or support. However, for specialist and financial support, there are eligibility requirements.

Housing Support

We believe that housing is a basic human right. Communify provides services that support you to find and maintain safe, secure housing.

We offer two programs to help people to find housing and stay in their current housing.
