Mental Health Support

Mental Health Support

If you’re struggling with mental health challenges that are impacting your ability to live a full and happy life, we can help.

Communify provides an array of mental health programs that respond to personal challenges and support you to achieve your goals.

Springboard

Springboard is an 18-week day treatment program for people experiencing co-occurring alcohol and other drug (AOD) and mental health difficulties. We provide support in a group setting as an alternative to residential rehabilitation.

Springboard is a post-detox treatment and requires participants to have completed detox or be stabilised on replacement program before they begin. The program does not offer supervised detox or counselling services.

The Way Back Support Service

The Way Back Support Service is a non-clinical support service focused on providing emotional and practical support for up to three months to people who have recently experienced a suicidal crisis or attempted suicide.

The Way Back Support Service is a strictly referral-based service – the program accepts referrals only from clinicians based at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the Prince Charles Hospital.

NDIS

We are a registered specialist provider of mostly psychosocial NDIS support services for eligible participants.

Working in a strengths-based, inclusive way, our NDIS staff work with you to build a tailored package of supports. If your plan includes support coordination, our team can work with you to implement your plan and build your capacity to better understand and manage your disability.

Recovery and Discovery Centre

The Recovery and Discovery Centre supports people who are living with severe and complex mental health challenges. The program provides free integrated clinical and non-clinical supports and is designed to help people who aren’t receiving mental health supports elsewhere.

Safe Space

Communify’s Safe Space is an innovative service that provides a holistic, supportive alternative to emergency departments for people experiencing emotional or psychological distress. Our Safe Space operates on an after-hours basis to offer friendly and welcoming support in a safe environment.

Support is provided by a team of peer workers who ensure that guests leave with reduced levels of distress and a sense of hope and positivity. Peer workers will greet guests and any carer or support persons, inquire about what their needs are, offer refreshments, a place to sit, and a range of supports and spaces available.
