February 2nd 2025 – Prophet Song by Paul Lynch. Winner of the Booker Prize 2023, this book is ‘a work of breathtaking originality, offering a devastating vision of a country at war and a deeply human portrait of a mother’s fight to hold her family together’. Hope you all enjoy it.

February 24th 2025 Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan. Winner of the Orwell Prize for political fiction and shortlisted for the Booker Prize, this 137 page novella is also set in Ireland and is a beautiful ‘tale of quiet heroism’. It will be easy to read in the three weeks between February book clubs.

March 24th 2025 – The Seven Sisters by Lucinda Riley – see brief summary attached. This book is the first in the series of seven novels
