Join ClockworkManda on January 9th at Bardon Hall, 247 Simpsons Rd Bardon, for an evening of Hula Hooping, Mindfulness Activities and Contemporary Dance. You’ll be tuning in to your feelings, learning something new and enjoying healthy snacks and drinks, all while supporting Manda’s journey to Laos for Humanitarian Clowns, where she will bring circus fun to the children of Laos!
Humanitarian Clowns is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading joy and compassion in challenging environments worldwide. They have been working with non governmental organisations in developing countries to provide emotional support, distraction, and entertainment with educational values. This project will encompass 16 days across two locations within Laos, where we will perform, teach and connect with various schools and communities. Ranging anywhere from 50 to over 1000 children per performance, the Circus for Humanity normally has an outreach to over 5000 children per trip.
This fundraiser workshop will include:
- 45min Hoopography workshop (“Scream” by Michael & Janet Jackson)
- Mindfulness Activities
- 60min Contemporary Choreography workshop (“Roll The Credits” by Danielle Ponder)
- Pay-what-you-can Booze-free Bar and snacks
