Redcliffe Medicare Mental Health Centre
Finding a way forward, together.
Just walk in.
The Redcliffe Medicare Mental Health Centre (RMMHC) is a safe, welcoming place where adults experiencing mental health distress, as well as their families and carers, can access free information, services, and support.
Whether you have experienced mental health challenges in the past or this is your first time reaching out for support, everyone is welcome. Our friendly multidisciplinary team, including Peer Services Guides with lived and living experience, are here to listen, start a conversation, and walk alongside you on your recovery journey.
Who we help
Everyone is welcome to visit us during our opening hours – no diagnosis, appointment, or Mental Health Treatment Plan needed.
We are a community-based, voluntary service that is independent of Medicare and open to everyone, regardless of citizenship or residency status.
To be eligible for the RMMC, you must be:
- Over the age of 18
- Reside within the Redcliffe Hospital catchment area (see map of catchment suburbs below)
- Not receiving mental health support elsewhere, including case management support through Queensland Health or Hospital to Home
While we aim to support everyone, there are some services we don’t provide directly. However, you are always welcome to call or drop in, and our team will guide you to the most appropriate service for your needs.
