The Paddington Centre

The Paddington Day Respite Centre provides social interaction and connection for people over 65. The centre offers a welcoming atmosphere for older people to enjoy a day away from home, which gives carers a break too, and to take part in our diverse range of activities.

Our staff are trained to support clients and their individual needs, ensuring clients feel mentally and physically stimulated by their daily activities.

The Paddington Centre assists people who are:

How we help

We offer person-centred care in a bespoke setting, and we maintain small enrolment numbers to ensure each client receives a tailored care experience. Our thriving hub keeps seniors active and occupied, which is vital to maintain as people get older.

Available in-house services include:

  • Community nurse
  • Resident hairdresser
  • Visiting podiatrist

Our staff are trained in dementia care to ensure that all clients receive the care they need.

We offer delicious, nutritious morning teas and lunches prepared by our in-house chef.

The Paddington Centre also hosts a range of activities to keep clients engaged and entertained, including concerts, guest speakers, chair exercise programs, brain gym, art, music therapy, current affairs, theatre and art discussions.

The Paddington Centre is open for client services between 10am-1:30pm Monday-Friday. Please note that we do not provide overnight or long day respite.

For clients to access our services, you will need to first confirm eligibility through MyAgedCare and obtain MyAgedCare codes. You can arrange this directly through MyAgedCare, or you can call our team during operating hours and we will be more than happy to explain the eligibility criteria and advise how you can access the required codes.
