Program details
Paid national training wage 38 hours, 5 days per week for 18 weeks
Gain hands on ‘greening’ experience working onsite at Ballymore Rugby complex and gardens, restoring parkland permitter, and regeneration along Enoggera Creek.
Study native plants, eco-system & conservation techniques
Develop skills in the safe use of hand tools, petrol driven equipment and herbicides
Team Building, Job Readiness Training & employability skill development
White Card and PPE provided
Eligibility
To apply applicants must be:
16 years or older
No longer attending school
Not currently enrolled in accredited training
Be a permanent Queensland resident or on a pathway to residency
Must not have previously participated in a Skilling Queenslanders for Work Programme
