Join Ensemble Sooon in exploring an entirely new program inspired by the space of the Woolloongabba Substation. New versions of Glass’s ‘Music in Contrary Motion’ snippets from our explorations of neglected dodecaphonist Hauer’s ‘Atonal Music,’ Gubaidulina’s outrageous cello and sax duo, Shaw’s ‘Boris Kerner’ for flower pots and cello, plus, Sooon have been cooking up a new work too, one to explore the intimate acoustics. Tim Munro and Skylar Samson perform solo sets.
