The Exchange, located in the heart of Kelvin Grove, is a busy community hub that is well attended by From English language classes to community dinners, art and music workshops to cultural events, the Exchange is always bursting with life and activity with something on offer for everyone to engage in.
This year saw a significant growth in attendance to the English language classes hosted at the centre. There were also record numbers at the weekly community lunches and dinners, with a current average attendance of between 65-80 community members at each lunch and dinner. This resulted in an estimated 16,500 episodes of social connection fostered through these events alone
The Exchange looks forward to welcoming back their community members when the centre and its programs/services recommence on Monday 15th January 2024.
