Considered by many the most beautiful book ever created, Ireland’s “Book of Kells” is renowned for its glorious handwritten Uncial script, developed by monks and scribes in the sixth and seventh centuries A.D.
The script from the book of Kells is one example from this group of hands but there have been others which have been developed over time. And of course, everyone knows The Lord of the
Rings!
