Ashgrove Bowls Club

Tucked away in the backstreets of Ashgrove is this gorgeous bowls club. A huge airy hall with a fully equipped kitchen makes this a fantastic venue for any classes, groups or conferences.

Bald Hills Uniting Church

A picturesque, bright and airy church hall in pristine condition. Polished wooden floors & a large stage. Great access and plenty of parking available.

Bardon Hall

Adjacent to Bowman Park, this hall is set back from the roadway, and is fully fenced with a small stage and wheelchair access. Suitable for groups with children, as well as meetings, workshops or classes.

Emmanuel Uniting Church Hall

A large, airy hall with carpeted floors; appropriate for all activities. Includes fully functioning kitchen. Child-safe with a fully fenced grassed area.

Indigo Soul Wellness

Conveniently located in Yeronga this is a beautifully restored 1940s Queenslander, featuring a large, quiet hall. It’s easily accessible and totally charming.

Ithaca Hall

Formerly Ithaca Library, this is an historic building now used by the public and community for meetings and leisure learning activities. The Hall has a kitchen, seating for 50 people, trestle tables and wheelchair access.

Jeays St, Bowen Hills

A large open space, great for any community activity. Close to the city and the Valley – easily accessible via Bowen Hills Train Station. Tables and chairs available, as well as two computers, and large whiteboards.

Jubilee Hall

Natural light with windows along both sides of the venue. Painted in fresh, appealing colours with a wooden polished floor and stage area. Please note: The Hall will no longer be available for hire from 1 July 2019. We apologise for any inconvenience.

New Farm Neighbourhood Centre

Featuring a multi-purpose area for up to 50 people, a smaller meeting room for up to 12, and an outdoors area with grassed barbecue area, and children’s playground.Please note: This venue will be closing for renovations in April; re-opening in late 2019.

Paddington Annexe

A large annexe room attached to Paddington Hall is available for separate hire. With its own air conditioning this space is appropriate for all kinds of activities such as meetings, classes etc and it also shares use of the hall kitchen.

Paddington Hall

A large, local treasure, this community hall has wooden floors; appropriate for all kinds of activities from yoga to training days. Located next to a great kids park, the hall is close to the city, and great for public transport options.

Paddington Play Centre

A large purpose-built play centre in downtown Paddington. Retractable glass doors offer great light and the option to open onto a fully enclosed grassy area.

Paddington Substation

This art space is home to HANDS ON ART. It is available for hire and perfect for any creative activity including art & photographic exhibitions, workshops, training and more.

S.P.A.C.E at Kenmore

Located in a quiet area by a creek this venue has a lovely peaceful atmosphere. The hall lends itself to activities such as dance, yoga, martial arts, craft, meetings and more. It’s also a great and secluded spot for weekend retreats.

Spring Hill Hall

This large airy hall is conveniently located adjacent to a park and close to the city. Suitable for large groups looking for a venue that offers multipurpose functionality.

Spring Hill Shed

This large inner-city workshop space is ideal for arts and crafts groups, carpentry and construction. Kids can make a mess here and men’s groups will also love this environment..

Spring Hill Studio

Situated beneath Spring Hill Hall, this room is approx 12m square. It features wood veneer flooring, chairs, a dance rail and piano, mirrors and great lighting. There is also a small kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities.

The Exchange Kelvin Grove

Located in Kelvin Grove Urban village, this is a space for meeting rooms, conference rooms, yoga space and training groups. Includes full kitchen and seating for 30 people.

The Newmarket Hall and Commercial Kitchen

Boasting 2 fantastic rooms; the huge upstairs hall is bright and spacious, and a downstairs bar area, ideal for parties and functions. Easily accessible in Ashgrove.

Woolloongabba Substation

Woolloongabba’s beautifully renovated local heritage substation (1928) has concrete floors and exposed brick feature walls.

How many people do your venues hold?

It varies depending on the activity, whether people will be seated or standing, and whether you include the outside areas as well.

Can I inspect a venue before hiring &/or registering?

Yes. To inspect a venue please email  the name of the venue and three preferences of a date and time that suits.

We will let you know if these times are available and organise entry instructions for you.

You don't need to be registered on the booking website arrange make an inspection.

Our venues come with basic furniture and appliances.

Just email with the name of the person and the times of the bookings.

There is a $15.00 fee for additional cards.

Do I need Public Liability Insurance?

Yes, you must provide your own public liability insurance to book a venue.

Do you provide catering?

No, but we can refer you to our preferred Catering company.

You are welcome to serve coffee, tea and food, but strictly NO BYO alcohol.
