Pattern or Chaos features 7m x 1.5m monochromatic blue painting depicting a ripple pattern studied on the shoreline of Sunrise Beach.

The installation aims to give some physically to the often felt, but never seen feeling of unease we experience in a world that seems to demand regularity and certainty, yet is ever changing and unpredictable.

Pattern or Chaos exhibition opening event will take place on 16th February 2019, 6pm-8pm

Shannon Toth is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Brisbane. As an advocate for mental health issues Shannon believes in using art as a means of communicating feelings that cannot be expressed in words. Previously hosting Painting to Music classes at Workshop Brisbane, as well as a mentor at Eating Disorders Queensland, Shannon believes mental health is an important topic for everyone to discuss and is passionate about breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health.
