Paddington Annexe is an air-conditioned separate space within Paddington Hall. The space is appropriate for all kinds of activities such as meetings, workshops and singing and dancing classes.

The hall and the annexe share the kitchen space and two toilets that are accessed from outside. The annexe is located next to the Neal Macrossan Playground, which is a fully fenced park, great for small children. Within walking distance to Milton train station (1.2km) and various bus stops.

This venue is within the Lang Park Traffic Area. On event days, parking restrictions apply in the local area surrounding the Suncorp Stadium. Check event dates by downloading the Events Schedule and read more about the Suncorp Transport Management.

Note: Because noise can travel between the Hall and Annexe, you must check there are no bookings in the calendar for the hall before booking the Annexe.

Please note: Paddington Hall and Annexe are wheelchair-accessible, however the toilet is not. There are accessible toilets in the adjoining park.

Hire Rates

Community hire rates are for events / courses / classes that are open to the general public to attend and it is mandatory to supply us with information to market the event on our what’s on section.

Supporting documents must be submitted in advance of booking to receive the community rates.

Please note if you wish to hire a space for business, training and/or private functions (including parties) where your event is not deemed to be a community event and/or is not open to the general public to attend then the private rate is applicable.

Casual Hire $30.00 / hour
For community groups that hire out Communify Spaces as a one off / or make random bookings throughout the year.

Permanent Hire $20.00 / hour
For community groups that hire our Communify Spaces five (5) or more times consecutively throughout the year.

Community Hire $15.00 / hour
For community groups who are not an incorporated organisation or a not for profit, but who meet a need in the Community. These groups may have a membership and only charge a minimum fee to cover their basic costs.

Not for Profit Hire $10.00 / hour
For groups / businesses that have an ABN and a certificate from the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission (ACNC) website or a Certificate of Incorporation as an Association with the Queensland Government.

Core rate $5.00 / hour
For groups that meet Communify’s Core Values.

Corporate and Private Event / Function, and Exhibition Rate $50.00
For all corporate and private functions, and exhibitions. Community rates available on application.

Amendments and Cancellations

All amendments and cancellations 7 days prior to the booking incur a $10 fee. All amendments and cancellations within 7 days owe full booking fee.

Payment Terms

Invoices are issued monthly in arrears and all payment is due within 7 days.

GST

All hire rates include GST.

Administration and Account Setup Fee

One-off account set up fee of $25.00
