Life can be a balancing act at the best of times, so why not come along and put in some practice!
For our October event we will be joined by trainers from the amazing Vulcana Women’s Circus, who will take us through our paces, with a range of circus skills activities. There will also be the opportunity to try out some simple but awesome dance moves with Wendybirder Roz!
There is something wonderfully healing about connecting with our own physicality, regardless of our gender, age, or body shape. At Cirque Du Wendybird you will have the options of jumping in, supporting others or simply reclining while the activities whirl around you.
Vulcana Women’s Circus is well known for creating opportunities to participate in physical and creative processes, to express ideas of transformation, risk and expanded notions of “normal”, through the learning, teaching and performance of circus.
We will be having a BBQ with beef sausages, vegetarian sausages, onion, bread, sauces, tea/coffee, cordial and water. If you have specific dietary requirements (such as gluten free, lactose free or vegan), we suggest that you bring along something that you know you are able to eat.
You are welcome to bring some salads to share if you are able and gold coin donations are welcome to cover costs of refreshments and venue hire.
We would like to welcome all people in our broad and diverse LGBTIQ community to come along and spend the afternoon with us. This is a family friendly and all inclusive event.
We can’t wait to see you there (and yes, that means you!).
