Our LGBTIQ communities are rapidly evolving, and the services and support we provide to support the mental health of LGBTIQ people needs to adapt to respond to these changing experiences of what it means to be LGBTIQ today.

This network meeting will host a number of speakers who will explore how contemporary issues in LGBTIQ communities impact on how we work with LGBTIQ people and support their mental health and wellbeing. Themes will include creating spaces for gender beyond the binary and responding to social isolation in a digital age of community.

This will also be time dedicated to informal networking and building relationships people working to improve the mental health of LGBTIQ people, including LGBTIQ organisations, GP’s, psychologists, psychiatrists, mental health nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and peer support workers.
