Are you passionate about community development? Do you want to work 3 days per week in a small, dynamic team working across New Farm, Kelvin Grove and Bardon in Brisbane’s inner north?
Working with the Community Engagement Coordinator you will be instrumental in creating a community education program that will appeal to targeted audiences and to be delivered in our neighbourhood centres and local community. This program will be accessible, affordable, fun, informative and importantly, new and innovative. Your work will involve engaging facilitators, working with volunteer committees, designing and distributing marketing materials, engaging and managing participant interest and registration as well as collecting participant feedback that will inform continuous improvements and development of the programs.

To be successful in this role you will be an energetic and enthusiastic team player who has experience in a role that would complement the skills required. You must be a people’s person who loves working innovatively as part of a small dedicated team, to build positive long-term relationships with stakeholders from all walks of life. You will have exceptional time-management and organisational capabilities and be able to manage multiple projects and priorities. You will be experienced in working across various digital platforms and will be comfortable with writing the copy for promotional materials and creating simple and stylish flyers. You’ll be a creative thinker and have exceptional written communication skills. Qualifications in events, marketing or communications would be advantageous.
